When a customer makes a purchase using a Credit, Debit or Charge Card, the transaction will be processed using secure encryption methods (SSL) ensuring that card details and payments made from your site are totally secure.

Fast & Online Secure - Processing and clearance of card payments is done in seconds. Multi-level safeguards ensure data integrity on the Internet and confidentiality from agents outside of the process when transactions are cleared.

Discreet - A special system ensures the privacy of the Credit Card number. You as a shop owner will never know the Credit Card number of your customer. At the point where the Credit Card details are to be given over, your customer is moved away from your website to a special secure server where your customer enters the Credit Card number before being returned to your site. This extra layer of security means that all Net-Wizards stores will become trusted places for customers to shop.

Payment choice - A wide choice of cards are accepted for payment.

Multi-currency - A full service allows Merchants to transact in 116 currencies and settle in 16, including the Euro.

How it Works
1. A simple link to the point of payment from within your Net-Wizards site allows the customer to be discreetly re-directed into the secure environment of the payment system server.

2. The format of the card number is checked and further security checks are made to validate the authenticity of the cardholder information. The transaction is then processed by requesting authorisation from the appropriate bank and confirmation is obtained that the bank has cleared the payment.

3. Confirmation is then displayed to your customer, complete with a transaction reference number. The system then sends two e-mail messages. One to you confirming the sale & details, and an invoice to your customer to confirm the transaction.

4. All you have to do is send the goods. The transaction is listed in both your reports section, (including details of sales taxes etc), and in the order management system where you can check the stage of every order through payment and delivery.

Which payment cards does Net-Wizards work this ?
Visa and MasterCard credit cards, plus American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard, JCB, Switch, Delta and Visa affiliated debit cards.

How you obtain a Merchant Account
During your application for your E-Commerce Wizard trial copy you will be prompted to print out a Merchant Account application form. You should complete and sign this form and send it to Net-Wizards who will arrange to have your application processed. Your application will be dealt with promptly and you will receive a decision within a few days.

While you are waiting for your application to be accepted you can go ahead and set up your trial store.

Once your application has been accepted you will be asked to sign a Merchant Service Agreement. Once your signed agreement has been received you will be authorised to accept card payments on line.

We realise that many people could make an application without being serious about E-Commerce, just to see perhaps if they could obtain one. Potentially this could swamp the Application Review Procedure, therefore we must make a charge of £100.00 plus VAT for every application. Please Note, if an application is refused, the deposit will be returned in full.

Merchant Processing Charges
There is a simple scale of processing charges for merchants as follows:

Merchant Service Charge (MSC)
This is 4% of the transaction amount. If you had your own direct facility with an Acquiring Bank you would pay the bank a MSC.

Processing Charge
This is the charge for carrying out the transaction processing with the bank on your behalf. The processing rate charged in a particular month is determined by the value of authorised transactions processed through your merchant account in accordance with the following scale:

Processing Charges	4% of transaction	3% of transaction	2% of transaction	1% of transaction

• There is a monthly minimum charge of £10.00 which is offset against service charge.
• There are no annual fees!
• There are no charges for unauthorised transactions!
